The project of “Landfill Gas to Electricity Generation’’ In Istanbul which is the largest in Europe, and among the top ten largest landfill gas to electricity projects in the world.
The waste heat from the gas engines is planned to be utilized for the generation of additional electrical energy. Exhaust waste heat will be transferred to thermal oil via heat exchangers and then transferred to the ORC (Organic Rankine Cycle) module in order to generate electricity.
MNK would produce 42 unit Waste Heat Exchanger. Exchangers which is being three modules will design high efficiency by using high-frequency welding finned.
The needs of the process will be met without any problems with the steam accumulation tank specially designed in order to meet the peak steam demands required by the process.

We have delivered the boiler and double economizer that will produce both steam and hot water from the exhaust gas of the biogas gas engine. After the waste heat steam boiler, while the boiler feed water is heated in the 1st economizer, 90°C hot water will be produced in the 2nd economizer made of stainless steel. With this system, a total of 740 kW of energy was recovered.

Our boiler room, which has a saturated steam production capacity of 8.000 kg/h and 8 barg, has been assembled together with the feed water economizer made of finned tubes, the thermal deaerator and the automation system and has been put into operation on a turnkey.
